Forest Bathing
Abigail Stohs
Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide
Abigail is a mother, a home herbalist, a creative, and a Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide trained by ANFT, accompanying others on gentle sensory immersion walks in forests and other wild spaces that offer the opportunity to slow down and reconnect with the living world within us and all around us. As a Forest Therapy or ‘Forest Bathing’ Guide, her mission is to accompany and support others on their journeys toward remembering wholeness. She believes this remembering is key in healing our relationship with Earth, with ourselves and others, and finding a sense of belonging and place in this moment in time.
Abigail’s heart calling is to show up in the world with care and conscious attention to subtlety and to share with others through her work and her presence a space of true acceptance and the possibility for healing and connection.
She values gentleness and sensitivity and appreciates diversity of lifeways and expression and the gifts each being brings to the wider circle of life here on Earth. Abigail loves being with her husband and son, enjoys medicine making, watercolor painting and fiber arts, creative writing, adventuring, and curating seasonal magic with her son in their homeschool.
Abigail believes in the Mission of Wild Church Petaluma in offering a space for deeper spiritual connection and communion with nature, and a place to come together in community remembering our capacity for belonging and wholeness in this beautiful dreaming of Earth. She is excited to be a part of this growing community.
